Trimming & pruning
Canopy thinning, deadwood removal and clearance pruning for residential trees.
Tree care built for the Hill Country
Tell us about your tree — trimming, removal or a stump that needs to go — and we’ll help connect you with an independent tree-service professional serving New Braunfels and Comal County.
More than a chainsaw and a truck
Live oaks, pecans and cedar elms are part of what makes New Braunfels beautiful — and part of what can threaten a roof when they’re neglected, diseased or storm-damaged. The right work depends on the species, the tree’s condition and what’s underneath it.

Stumps left from removals or old cuts.

Share the service and the basics. We’ll use that scope to avoid sending your request to a provider who does not handle it.
How it works
We are an independent referral service. The provider — not this site — inspects the tree, recommends the work and stands behind it.
Four steps
Select trimming, removal or stump grinding. Include the number of trees, approximate size, condition and your ZIP code.
No request is routed until one independent provider is vetted to serve the advertised area and offer every core service listed on this site.
They can assess health, structure, lean, access and what’s at risk underneath. Conditions on site determine the safest approach.
Confirm scope, debris cleanup, haul-off, timing and price directly with the provider. There is no obligation to proceed.
Before saying yes
Ask whether the crew carries liability insurance, how the tree will be taken down if it’s near your home, what cleanup and haul-off are included, and how the stump area will be left. For oaks, ask about pruning timing and tool sanitation — oak wilt is a real threat in Central Texas.
Recommendations should be tied to your actual tree and lot — not just a price over the phone.

The essentials
No. New Braunfels Tree Service is an independent referral service. A matched provider evaluates, quotes and performs the work under its own business name, terms and warranty.
Lead routing stays inactive until one independent provider is vetted to serve the advertised area and offer all three core services: residential tree trimming and pruning, tree removal, and stump grinding. We will not advertise or route work outside that confirmed scope.
The standard form covers residential tree trimming and pruning, residential tree removal, and stump grinding. It does not promise land clearing, utility-line work, commercial contracts or treatment programs for tree disease.
Because of oak wilt, pruning oaks is safest during the coldest and hottest stretches of the year — generally mid-winter and mid-summer — and cuts should be sealed promptly. Ask the provider about timing and sanitation for your specific tree; hazard limbs that threaten a home shouldn’t wait for the calendar.
Price depends on the tree’s height and trunk diameter, its condition, how close it is to structures, and whether debris is hauled off. The provider should give you a written scope and price after seeing the tree.
Not always — many providers price grinding separately. Confirm in writing whether the quote includes grinding, how deep it goes, and whether the grindings are hauled away or left as mulch.
Look for the trees included, the work to be performed on each, cleanup and haul-off, stump treatment, timing, exclusions, price, and proof of insurance. Ask about anything not stated.
No. Requesting a connection is free and does not obligate you to accept a quote or begin work.
